The Lutheran community
Vineyard Lutheran School Clare is a Foundation to Year 7 school of the Lutheran Church of Australia.
Vineyard is one of over 85 Lutheran schools educating more than 40,000 students in Australia. The school was first opened with 27 students in 2001 in the hall at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Sabine Street Clare.
During this time the school council and school community strived to find suitable land and the current permanent site at 59 Main North Road Clare was officially purchased. Work began on the site immediately and the school was ready for its opening in January 2002.
Vineyard Lutheran School is part of the Lutheran Education SA NT and WA, which governs and advises the Lutheran Schools within its region.
This means that we form partnerships and conglomerates with other similar schools in our neighbouring regional communities. These include The Barossa and Regional Lutheran Educational Network.
Vineyard Lutheran School is organised into three distinct stages of learning. Foundation/Year 1/2, Year 3/4/5 and Year 6/7. All students are valued individually and in each learning journey application and effort is celebrated as students are challenged to fulfil their potential.
We enjoy strong partnerships with our families who generously involve themselves in many aspects of school and worship life.
Our students and staff enjoy the benefits of working in a superbly well-resourced, comfortable and safe environment, in a beautiful thriving country environment.
Vineyard Lutheran School continues to grow and strengthen in its educational goals and its commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
